Hello Sausage!: The Ghost Village Sausage and Shelby decide to go on an adventure to an abandoned ghost village in kayaköy, Fethiye, Türkiye. They pack their trusty suitcases and head off to Türkiye from Squashberry Valley.
the pair or adventurers rent a Jeep, have a wonderful picnic in Gemiler National Park and go for a swim on Gemiler Beach to cool off from the heat of the Turkish sun. They love going on adventures together and the ghost village in Kayaköy, had lots of things to see.
It's steeped in local Greco and Ottoman History, from early 15th century until 1922. When the Greeks and Turkish were at war, they made a pact to end the fighting.
But made a treaty to send everyone back to thier native countries.
doing so left hundreds of houses abandoned and in ruin, because the returning Turks believed the houses were haunted from the Greeks that had been killed, in the fighting and would not live in them because they were followed by the ghosts of the fallen Greeks. but that's just a local folk tale? right...
