"But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us" (2 Corinthians 4:7, NIV). God saw us through every trial and many valleys of the shadow of death to victory very often, despite us and literally against all odds. Come to Him in your despair and disappointments, not away from Him, and He will meet you right where you are. He promises we will win if we don't quit.
