Bøker i Demographic Yearbook (Ser. R)-serien

The seventy-first issue edition in a series published since 1948. This edition of the Yearbook contains chapters on the population size and distribution, the population of capital cities, fertility, foetal mortality, infant and maternal mortality, general mortality, nuptiality and divorce.

Data have been collected from national statistical authorities since 1948 through a set of questionnaires dispatched annually by the United Nations Statistics Division to over 230 national statistical offices. The yearbook disseminates statistics on population size and composition, births, deaths, marriage and divorce on an annual basis.
