These papers present the various aspects of group theory and Lie algebra theory with the monster group as the underlying subject. Topics covered include vertex operator algebras and the application in conformal field theory and elliptical cohomology, the net group, and modular Lie algebras.

There are papers on permutation group algorithms, finitely presented groups, polycyclic groups, and parallel computation, providing a representative sample of the breadth of Computational Group Theory.
