It is not rather nature vs. nurture but a combination of the two-the inherited genes and the circumstances we are raised in that culminate our essence. We cannot manipulate our genes nor as a child can we control our environment. Those that grow up in a household without domestic violence have an advantage. In this book of candid poems, quotes, and anecdotes I scratch the surface of my existence with pen and paper, exposing the dysfunction of an average American family & my social nuances when interacting with others.
