Ali Taghavi was born in 1968 in a cultured family in Tehran. He is the only son of Nasser Taghavi, a renowned Iranian director (creator of "Daii jan Napoleon" and "Ey Iran"), and Shahrnoosh Parsipour, a famous Iranian writer (author of "Women Without Men", "Tuba and the Meaning of the Night", etc.). He spent part of his childhood in Iran and several years in France. He grew up in Iran and always had the company of Iranian literary and artistic figures.He holds a Master's degree in French language from the University of Tehran and currently resides in Australia. This book is a collection of his poems, and its illustrations and designs were done by his spouse, Shokoufeh Kavani, an Iranian painter and translator residing in Australia.
