Alice May Oseman (født den 16. oktober 1994) kommer fra Kent i England, og er både en forfatter og illustratør. Bøkene hun skriver er hovedsakelig rettet mot unge voksne, og allerede som 17-åring sikret hun seg sin første publiseringsavtale. Hennes første roman “Solitaire” ble publisert i 2014, noe som ble den første av flere kjente verk. I tillegg har Oseman skrevet fire LGBTQ+-grafiske romaner i “Heartstopper”-serien. I dag er flere av bøkene innenfor serien oversatt til norsk. Hennes romaner fokuserer hovedsakelig på moderne tenåringsliv i Storbritannia. Serien om “Hearstopper” ligger nå ute som TV-serie på Netflix, der hun selv har vært produsent for serien.
