The images and words lead us into finding new truths about those things we see everyday.

Once, a rare time when he wasn’t reading a book, Allen discovered, and fell deeply in love with, a fairy. Her name was Tinkerbelle. Each evening, when the fireflies came out, blinking their messages to one another, and to those children, old and young, who dared to listen in, he searched and asked among them, if Tinker was coming to visit. Though she never did, he did meet many lovely fairies over a lifetime of seeking. This book is about some he knew.

A child and her dog sip tea in the garden and share with the many visitors who join them. Her guests include the birds, insects, butterflies, and bees that take joy in her garden every day. Never alone, this collection of friends is all she needs to feel connected to the world.
