God said to me, Why is there no lasting revival? Most revivals don't last long. They start up. Sometimes it takes a while to start them up. But sometimes they start up and then they fizzle out. Five years is a very long revival. I've been in a revival where it's been two years, I've been in a revival that was only six months. And you got to understand whatever the timetable is, there are different levels of revival. But why isn't there any long-lasting revival, and I got some things that I'm going to get into here, but I'm going to be jumping around. But I really believe that we have gotten to be in a delusion in the church. People don't even know what they're asking for when they ask for revival, they want revival to come. They want God to move in the church. But then when God begins to shift and begin to try to do it, they're like, oh, I don't want that. Let me tell you something, you cannot say what the revival is going to be. You can't choose the revival. You can't even choose the people that are going to come to it. Come on, we would like to choose. And it's you say all that, what's wrong with that? There's something wrong with that. But you got to understand, I couldn't have a choice, God's that kind of God, sometimes he'll bring some of those people. And they'll come and they'll plop it down in the seat. And they'll have the stirring like they never left. And I'm telling you, there's a lot of things that are happening, but we have been delusional for so long. And there are some things that are about to happen because we want the stirring of revival, but we don't want the change. Let me tell you, some revival is going to come and it's going to change everything. It's gonna change the way you even look at church.

The thing God kept speaking to me today was, how many? And how often? might we have robbed ourselves of a blessing? How many times and how often do you think it takes place that you tie down hands or rob yourself of a blessing. Because sometimes we'll react rashly or so negatively about a situation, instead of responding in the way God wants us to respond. And I believe we have blown our blessings. I believe some of this we started talking about last week, but God's saying he wanted me to talk about this part this week, where we need to understand that sometimes it's not the devil. Sometimes it's not, it's not somebody else. But it's we have robbed ourselves of a blessing. You say, oh, God doesn't work that way. You got anybody here ever have a father, everybody has a father, a dad, anybody here has a mother. Everybody has a mother, even no matter what. And I'm telling you when we look at this, let's say for an example, we have two girls, both the same mother, and let's say this one cleans a room. This one gets all the things are taken care of she's supposed to do. And this one does not. There are certain benefits this one's gonna get. Because this one has done and has been obedient to do what they're supposed to do. The one that was disobedient, and said, I don't want to do it right now. I don't care I don't want to clean my room; it is too messy. They don't receive the blessings, because of obedience, they believe they receive a blessing for their disobedience. And what that means is, they're going to get something because of their obedience. And they're not because of their disobedience. So, the way God looks at us is the same way whenever he tells us to do something, and we don't respond the way we're supposed to. But it actually can rob us. And just so you know, not every time does God necessarily, say, Joshua, you're supposed to write those things down and study them through because I'm just trying to speak to you, doesn't necessarily mean that you have to

God, I want you to fill my mouthful in Jesus' name, I don't want to just preach a word. I don't want to just dig up something and just preach it in Jesus' name. And Lord, I just want to give what you got and what you got is good Speaking of goodness, that's what we're going to talk about tonight. Because you are good, and how many know God is good. And God told me tonight, he said, as I was preparing a little bit, actually, I just got to prepare this morning. I went through kind of a little bit of non-sickness time. And that is a bit of confession anyway. So, this morning, I kind of woke up and I said, well, God it is the day I kind of need to need to tell me something like now All of a sudden, it just Whoosh. He said, talk about my goodness. And I said, God, you know, this is one of those times that you know, I'm just giving you a conversation because sometimes we need to hear the conversation. And I say, God, I said, well, you know, to talk about your goodness, right now you're good. I know you are. And I say that my face. But I said, there's been some blockage, there's been some hindrance, there's been a lot of things we've had to go around and go through lately. And I say, God, you know, this is not something that I'm physically feeling like I should be talking about right now. And he said, Listen, you're my prophet. And as you say it, I'll be, I'll begin to manifest my goodness. He said, remember when the revival began, and man, I love when we get into a conversation. How many loves to be in a conversation with Jehovah, God, King of glory. And we got in a conversation, and he came back. He said, remember at the beginning of the revival, you kept talking about the breakthrough.

We will begin by taking a real look at the battlefield. Many times for us to win battles, we need to understand all aspects of the field of each and every battle. Understanding satan's motivation is revealing the secrets behind it all. As violent as the warfare between good and evil has been, and as long as it has been going on, it is not eternal. God has no beginning of days nor ending. He is from everlasting to everlasting. I don't know about you, but for me in my house, we've been believing God for things. I'm not talking about paying the bills. There's more. We've been believing God for something big. A breakthrough that will get you to a place where you don't have to worry or be concerned. There's been a lot in our life that every time we start to get to a place where everything's good, something happens. The big bills always come, right when you think you got there. There's something that always gets in the way of something's always and we've been going through and hearing, month after month, year after year. Breakthrough is coming. Like I said before, so is death. But I'm not going to wait. I'm not going to sit around and just say, Oh, it's coming Sunday. You know, since the Bible days, the church has lost a lot. We've lost a lot of authority that was God-given. We're supposed to be turning the world upside down. We're supposed to have authority over everything. We're supposed to co-labor with God. Yet we have been living a life of wimpy, wimpy Christians. The church has been going downhill for so long, that we have made it normal that we are always sick and tired.

What most Christians seem to overlook is the fact that what we say has power. This can be used for both good and evil. Wrong confessions enslave us, but right confessions liberate us! You will be weak if you talk about weakness! You will be sick if you talk about disease! You will be poor if you talk about poverty! Declare your fears, and the sickness of that declaration will spread! If we keep looking for the tumor or growth, we'll find it sooner or later. The easiest method to get old is to talk about it - and you will not be disappointed if you keep talking about it! "Oh, I'm becoming old" or "I'm losing my mind in my old age" are popular phrases. This is something that can begin as early as childhood. "I can't run because of my poor knee," children complain. They usually wounded it years ago, but still use the excuse and admit to a serious injury stemming from a minor one. This is faith in reverse, and it may be just as effective in the wrong way as it is in the right. If false confessions enslave us, true confessions liberate us. Right confessions are admissions that refuse to take into account how you feel, think, or know. Right confessions don't pay attention to the senses' evidence, and they don't pay attention to aches, pains, symptoms, tumors, or growths. They believe that, no matter how loud and insistent their voice is, what God says is truer than what these things proclaim. What you feel and see may be incorrect, but God's Word is always correct! The testimony of your aches and pains isn't as trustworthy as the testimony of God's Word. People spend their lives listening to and proclaiming their senses' testimony. They reject the unmistakable testimony of God's Word. Is it any surprise that so many people are in problems because they prefer to trust what they think, feel, see, and know? This chapter will show you how to conquer a new found independence.

Whether people like it or not, the traditional church is in serious difficulty and has been fighting for survival for years. There is a tiny uptick in the number of new, non-traditional churches, which helps us all see that God has a new method of doing church. There are no quick fixes in this book, but there are true roots that are being uncovered. There is no need for another religious group or activity in the Church. We need compassionate, Christ-centered leaders, not religious leaders. Bill is a God-sent prophet with a powerful message that the entire Church needs to hear. Bill demonstrates that many churches, large and small, are meeting and remaining silent as the world continues to deteriorate in many ways. The truth is that the world, including some churches, is on its way to Hell. We must heed the urgency of all God has placed on Bill Vincent's heart and the hearts of many prophetic voices like him. Why is America in such horrible shape when there are so many churches? Someone has dropped the ball. This is why, rather than brushing it off and passing it on to the next person, we can't just attend to Church as spectators. When we're asked to pray for a person or a country, we must take it seriously and truly struggle and intercede. This would be the point at which the ball would be dropped. You understand why horrible things have happened in America: God is attempting to awaken this country to the fact that there is a greater power at work in this country that is not the President of the United States.

God's Spirit I pray and thank you for everything you've done in revivals, but I beg you to come again, Lord. Return with your strength. Lord, return in your majesty. I pray that you will be able to touch everyone's heart. Your words will pierce every heart. Father, I ask that your hand might go out to those who are enslaved, those who are separated from God. That Lord's salvation would be made available. In the awesome name of Jesus. "I accuse you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His coming in His kingdom," Second Timothy 4 states. Preach the message. Be prepared both in and out of season. Convince, reprimand, exhort, and teach all the time for the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine but will heed for themselves teachers because their ears are itching, and they will turn their ears away from the truth and be turned aside to falsehoods. But you, be cautious in all you do. Allow yourself to be afflicted. Carry out the duties of an evangelist. Make your ministry a success. Because I'm already being poured out as a drink offering, and my departure date is approaching. I've put up a good fight. I've completed the race. I've stayed true to my word. Finally, a crown of righteousness has been set aside for me." This is something I'd like you to hear. Don't ever let a guy, anything, or any circumstance in your life steal the things God has planned for you to have. One of the great things that I see in my generation, and one of the things that tears my heart, is that I see a generation that has no notion of their destiny, future, or hope that God has for them. I see young individuals who are despondent. There's a lot. We have the automobiles, the entertainment, the lights, and everything else that the world has to offer, but there has never been a generation that is more miserable, despondent, or despairing. You may be reading this because you've looked all over the world, and all over your life, for hope. I'd like to talk to the fathers. I'd like to make a call to all the fathers who don't know how to communicate with their sons. A generation is passing away. We require a divine intervention. God is not behaving in a pleasant manner. It is necessary. Many in the church, in my opinion, do not want God's fire. They don't want to shake everything that can be shaken. They want a nice church and a peaceful and orderly retirement. In the Kingdom of God, there is no such thing as retiring. You must throw out the lifeline while you have breath in your body. You've got to give a dying generation a lifeline. It's a matter of life and death.
