No matter the circumstance, there is always HOPE.Brent Garzelli was born a poor boy on a cattle farm in southern Missouri. He did not see much hope for the future of farming, so he excelled in high school, college, and seminary. Some of the story of Tyisha is his story-especially the change the Lord made in her life is reflective of the change made in his own. He has been an ordained minister since 1979 and sees writing books as his ministry now.Cheryl Garzelli was born on the headwaters of the Rio Grande River in southern Colorado. She is the daughter of a former Warrant Officer in the United States Army and had no particular faith in God as a child. Her life of faith is a miracle and is the pattern used to show the transition in Tyisha's life from one of hopelessness to one of seeking and doing the will of God. Brent and Cheryl have been married for over 47 years.

But God had other plans and took me to college, seminary, and to service as an Air Force chaplain. This was only the beginning of God's plan for my life which included marriage to my wife of 47 years. Together, Cheryl and I have served as pastor and wife of six different congregations, as missionaries to Venezuela, Costa Rica, and Panama, and as a hospital chaplain.Cheryl has been with me since before I was ordained and almost fifty years later, she is still by my side in every ministry the Lord has called me to. Though our bodies are failing, God's call is still as loud as ever.
