In Nothing Predictable, I share moments of sickness and danger that left me numb in fear, intertwined between moments of immeasurable joy that I hope to never forget.Volunteering in Malawi, Africa at the age of nineteen shaped me into who I am proud to be today. Throughout this memoir, I build a strength and resilience that guides me to breathe, cope, and enjoy the stories and adventures I share with you in Nothing Predictable. I feel humbled by the challenges I have faced; learning to trust and forgive what is beyond my control, and to navigate the privileges I possess as a white North American young woman.
