Petey was excited to learn how he and his leafy friends would change into beautiful bright colors when fall came. His friends, Mr. Caterpillar and Ms. Lady Bug, would visit and tell him everything that's happening in the other trees and how wonderful the change of the seasons is going to be. As time goes by though, he has not changed, and Petey comes to realize the importance of not having to be like everyone else.
