A pre-startup safety review (PSSR) is the methodical analysis of a facility or operating unit to ensure no hazardous situations occur before operating a facility or plant. This book guides readers to integrate the PSSR throughout the project or turnaround phases of plant operations, with a verification check at the traditional PSSR step.

The chemical process industry is a rich target for cyber attackers who are intent on causing harm.
