This is fiction inspired by a true crime in 1910, in the city I live in, Bendigo, Australia. The crime was part of my history studies and I found it both horrific and fascinating. I wrote a true story first (Not Guilty) but, although there was a lot of information available, as more of a fiction writer I wanted to add to the story and try to understand it a bit more. I spent a couple of years with that crime in my head and this final book, 'Her Flesh and Blood', allowed me to make sense of it all, for me at least.

In 2493 there are two very different civilizations surviving in a world so damaged no-one can go outside in daylight. The Thrallians are a high tech civilization, unaware of the existence of the Centrals, who live in a deserted subway. That is until Derek and Patric discover a girl locked in the Supers' quarter. A girl with blonde hair and blue eyes, unlike anyone in Thrallia.
