Freedom Zone introduces the author and her dysfunctional family in a post-World War II rural environment up until the present. Coralyn shares challenging autobiographical detail, and within that, crippling pastoral abuse and the long journey of recovery following many years of mental illness. In 2020, Coralyn overcame a male pastor's haunting and invasive influence and entered into an institutional 'freedom zone' encompassing church fellowship in the Lutheran Church of Australia. Her mission now is to promote ethical ecclesiology across Christianity, affecting women's rights to equality, dignity, and respect.
