When telling a story, ordinary people start at the start and end at the end, but not dad. Even in death dad was different. He died at 37 but wasn't buried until he was 75 (more about that later.) I'll start this story about growing up in the Australian bush near the start, but along the way I'll honor Dad by jumping about the timeline.

I love to write and to create watercolor paintings. This book is a collection of some of my wife's favorites. She is my most enthusiastic critic but also my greatest supporter.
