In the land of opportunity, where dreams are said to come true, there is still a major contrast between the haves and the have-nots. This is a story of America, a nation grappling with a problem that has persisted for generations-the noticeable gap in financial security. It is a multifaceted issue that touches the lives of millions, trapping individuals and families in a cycle of poverty while opening up the gates of opportunity for others. But the time has come for change. It is time to challenge the status quo and seek new solutions to bridge this deep divide. In this ebook, we will explore the complex dynamics of the wealth gap in America and unravel the habits and conditioning that perpetuate the poverty syndrome. We will dare to see another possibility. The possibility that comes with knowledge, training and wealth principles that will push every household to the status of sound financial security.1-Only in AmericaIt's 5 pm on a Tuesday and I am stuck in traffic heading home from work when my friend decides to scan the radio station. I'm sure he was looking for some hip hop and R&B when suddenly I hear that country song by Brooks and Dunn "Only in America." "Everybody gets a chance and we all get to dance"The song was not on long but the words temporarily lingered in my head. I began to ask myself, Is that true? And if it is, is there a level playing ground when it comes to acquiring the American dream? To give credence to the song, it says you can come from anywhere trying to get somewhere. You've got a chance. You might win and you might not.I just went on with my thoughts and said only in America. An immigrant can receive paid housing, education and business grants while working class Americans can struggle to pay rent, start a business and put food on the table. Only in America one can pass down a billion dollar empire while another is lucky his funeral expenses are fully covered. Only in America can a last name make you an instant board member, an approved job candidate or blacklisted kid that's about to get the book thrown at him. That's when it hit me. "There's a wealth gap somewhere".Now that I have your attention, let me tell you why I have written this book. Some may think I plan to belabor and complain about the social financial, and cultural disadvantages that exist between certain classes of society. And if we are truthful, there are both social advantages and disadvantages in the financial structure of America. However, I am from the school of thought that says complaining and lamenting usually leads you back square one. This book is written to uncover the contributing factors that create this social construct in an effort to raise the social and financial status of every household. Take for example, all knowledge is good for understanding and once it is revealed, we can implement the tools to reshape our financial destiny.I would therefore say that there are wisdom keys to be found in this book. (Proverbs 4:7)7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all of thy getting, get understanding. The ability to know what you have not known, and do what you have not done comes when we are ready to close the the gap and possess every man or woman's rightful inheritance in this land.2-Something has to ChangeI like promises, don't you? Especially the kept ones. That's why I serve the living God who cannot deny his word. He says,"My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that I have spoken."The issue with promises is that they are not always kept. This can lead to great emotional damage and financial loss. I'm reminded of a promise that was made by the US government around a century and a half ago.The civil war was coming to an end and so was the slavery built economy. There was a promise given to the newly freed men signed by President Lincoln himself
Don't just Tithe-Plan Save and Invest$ By Daniel Magee Introduction Have you ever wondered if the believer was created to do and experience so much more. After a lifetime of taught the importance of kingdom giving, there are some that have never been given tools to intentionally create a better life for themselves and their families. This book endeavors to discover the necessary financial principles that can place the faithful kingdom giver in a place of Sufficient Provision. It is with great joy and humility that I present to you this subject: Don't just Tithe-Plan, Save and Invest 1 The Things we were Taught As long as I can remember, the church community with whom My family was connected can be described as faithful believers. We taught the principals of the bible such as salvation, sanctification, justification, faiith and kingdom giving. Kingdom giving was often addressed in the form of tithes and offerings. In the book of Malachi 3:10 the Lord says," Bring the tithe (tenth) of your increase in to my store house and prove me if I will not open up the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing that you will not have room to receive." We taught that God loves a cheerful giver. We were right. After all life is a stewardship. We were created by Him to fulfill our living assignments and one day stand before him to hear the words "well done good and faithful servant." In addition to that, we were taught that the word of God says "My God shall supply all of your needs according to His riches in Glory (phillipians 4:1) As a preacher' s kid I believed every word of it. It was truth and it therefore holds the power to set us free. I even grew up to preach those same truths to the congregation that I led and fellowshiped with. What can be more comforting than to know that if God is for us, it matters not who is against us. The whole counsel of the bible says that God the Creator loves us and wants to have intimate fellowship with his creation. 2 When Hope meets Blind faith When I look back on my experience, I can see that it was hope that we gave to each parishioner. Hope helps those in despair to believe for a miracle. We preach hope which produces faith in the God who can heal our sickness, restore our families, protect our lives, and save our souls. We have preached hope on every of the corner of the earth and the world would do with it what they would. While these principals showed men the way to eternal life, that is not the main focus of this book you are reading. I decided to write this book because in many parishioners' lives, hope was all they had. Faith would keep the lights on, the roof over their heads, and clothes on their backs. Because after all, God cares for His people. However I can't help but consider that maybe something was missing in our Sunday morning message on having faith in God. Now, don't misunderstand me. I love seeing God work a miracle in the lives of His people. But recently I began to consider that there is something better than a miracle. Now I know what you are thinking, Blasphemy!! What could be better than a miracle? The manifestation of the supernatural assures and reminds us that God will never leave us nor forsake us. Evangelist Oral Roberts used to say," A miracle is either coming towards you or moving past you at every given moment." When people didn't have abundant resources and opportunities for whatever reason, they had hope. They walked in faith and love. They took a little and made it stretch to feed a neighborhood. So I ask you," What could be better than a miracle?" I dare clear my throat when I answer you. Are you ready? Sufficient Provision!! 3 Sufficient Provision To be in position where there is no worry as to how the bills will be paid. That is, say it with me now, Sufficient Provision. It is being in a position where your child's college expense is set aside. The car replacement and repair, set aside. Retirement you say? Well on track. Guilt heavy spending is a thing of th...
