The Treasure of Stella Bay, Doug Jordan's latest opus, is a work of fiction, sort of a Tom Sawyer, but set 100 years later in 1960 rather than 1860, and Stella Ontario, rather than Hannibal Missouri. It is the story of a 11-12 year old boy, Alex Jorgenson, who struggles to come to terms with a new home, new school, new friends and a special girl, and finds the courage to confront his bullies, and his insecurities, and discover the treasure of Stella Bay. This is a book for all ages, youths to folks who were in their youth during the early '60s.

Travels With Myself is my journey of transition and discovery following the death of my life-long wife and partner to cancer, and then recovering from a broken heart when my next love decided it would be better for her if she were not part of my life. Follow me to The Philippines where, hair on fire, I was determined to live my life differently, find lasting love, and a new identity - author. I learned a lot about grief and love and mental health, and this book includes many references to what others have said about life's biggest challenge: life after loss.
