Dachshunds are smart and brave, originally bred to go underground after badgers. The main thing is, Heidi's nose is on job.
This story is about a Chihuahua stolen in the Pacific Northwest. Polly, the missing dog, was a stray and had finally found a home with a disabled Army veteran. Now the Dog Finders are in America and on the case with Laddie, a Lassie look-alike. Since both the Chihuahua and the Collie insisted on top billing, the story is also available as C is For Collie.
