Most of the stories are told in a rural backdrop; be it the quarrelbetween two neighbouring housewives, as in "Discovery", or the chance killing of a rampagingmonkey on an auspicious Tuesday, as in "Atonement", or the painful last couple of hours in the lifeof an emaciated, unwanted street dog, as in "Green Disguise"; everywhere the village life isdescribed in its glorious best. The infinite powers of human beings, their patience and anxieties drivethem to make them undefeated heroes in their lives. Amidst the pragmatic negativity and blindalleys, life is destined to take a positive turn and ultimately finds bright light at the end of the tunnel
