Ernest Edward Kellett (1864-1950) was an English writer and literary critic who was senior English master at the Leys School, Cambridge from 1889 to 1924. Originally published in 1928, this book presents a selection of 13 essays by Kellett on a variety of literary figures and themes.

Originally published in 1923, this book contains twelve essays on English literature and analysis. Six of the articles concern Shakespeare's style and attitude, while the other half examine authors such as Chaucer, Macaulay and Dryden.
