    This story will guide you to overcome hypertension if you read till the endEven though she knew how to cook very well, she couldn't easily maintain the dietary recommendations she received from the doctor. This is a story my cousin told me about her friend's mother. according to her the friend's mother was diagnosed with hypertension for over two years without high fluctuations. It shouldn't be so but because she couldn't maintain the dietary prohibition placed on her to get herself, she ended up not achieving good health for two years of trying. I can relate to it too because if I happen to be told not to eat my cake, I am sure it will linger for a long time before I can stick to the plan. It was when she consistently visited the hospital that the doctor's attention was drawn to her case and he inquired why there was no reasonable improvement. She discussed her predicament with the doctor. she explained how hard it was for her to stick to the plan given to her initially. She said she wasn't able to always abide by the rule because she so much loved taking her normal diet. I sincerely felt for the woman even though our paths never crossed. I perfectly understand how hard it was to stick to a diet especially when there are no recipes laid down for you to cook from, everything is from your judgment and decision. Which most times makes you lose your appetite. I like helping people the best way I can especially when I can comfortably do so. So I gave my cousin a recipe book I prepared over the years through my series of research when my grandma was diagnosed with hypertension.
