""As a lover of poetry, I wanted to do something special to celebrate National Poetry Day this year. So I wrote my very own Poetry book! The title Lighthouses was chosen as an acknowledgement of lightworkers and the service they provide for others. Irish Poet and Nobel Laureate Seamus Heaney, was renowned for creating with words. Below are two of his quotes that I feel are particularly apt for my poetry book. """"If you have the words, there's always a chance that you'll find the way."""" - Stepping Stones: Interviews with Seamus Heaney. "I can't think of a case where poems changed the world, but what they do is they change people's understanding of what's going on in the world." - Seamus Heaney, This Week magazine, 2004. My Poetry book is written in the form of the traditional Japanese Haiku. It is my greatest wish that you may feel the love, compassion and joy that these poems have been infused with. Sending you dear reader love, light and blessings.""
