He shoots with a camera, not a gun. Then one night on a stakeout, all that changes when Neslowe suddenly finds himself on the run-the only problem is, he doesn't know who's after him. Desperate to seek refuge, he accidentally stumbles onto a crime scene and is arrested by the police instead. It will take all his skills as an investigator as well as help from every contact he has in town for the detective to keep himself from being convicted of murder. Like the improvisation of a great jazz musician, there's no road map this time as Ray Neslowe is forced to work his way through the Seattle changes.
