Oliver Cromwell and the English People, first published in 1937, contains the text of a lecture delivered by the author before the Friedrich Sthamer-Gesellschaft in Hamburg in 1936. It is printed together with notes and an epilogue on 'The English Puritan Revolution and the German National Socialist Revolution'.
