When an iconic group of stellar musicians are abducted by an alien force, they find themselves entangled in a cosmic struggle on other worlds against a tyrannical overlord bent upon total domination at any cost - and by any means necessary. "Hill weaves a unique tale that focuses upon the vast potentiality of music, the importance of true camaraderie, and the power in gestalt - all while juxtaposing contemporary socio-political overtones that echo those that humanity seems hell-bent upon relearning over and over again." Heath D. Alberts - Author of "Last Rights"

The Rockford, Illinois music scene has always been one worth documentation, but there has never been a massive ongoing coordinated concrete effort to make a record of that scene in physical print form beyond individual books and newsprint zines. We're hoping with this new series to make steps to fixing that problem. It seems a shame to let the history of a vibrant music scene be relegated to scraps of things that just happened to be kept in a drawer somewhere. The Rockford scene has always deserved a better treatment than that, and we're hoping to help the cause. Whether you've been a part of the Rockford music scene in anyway or not, we hope that you find these books to be a lasting record of a history worth preserving. This third book focuses on four bands: Cheater, Dark Sun, Let Fate Decide and Red Ball Jet.
