The papers are a part of the vast repository of VIF publications over the past decade of its functioning as a strategic think tank with the purpose of addressing the complex commitments on defence that the State has been confronted with.

To commemorate the Tenth Anniversary of the Vivekananda International Foundation, a selection of 15 articles of contemporary national concerns, along with analyses and prognoses, are presented in this volume. The topics chosen are diverse, and the analyses are as current today as when the papers were written.
