Blood on the Axe is a jolly romp from the shores of Lake Malaren to the fantastically rich cities of the east. My Viking heroes (well, anti-heroes) encounter gods, harlots, shysters, thieves, and imbeciles. They bang elbows with emperors, khagans, and despots on their way to the glory of Valhalla - or at least many romps with harlots. Did I mention them?
