Watch and be Ready."Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame." Revelation 16:15On the morning of the wedding day, as people were busy preparing food for the bridegroom's party [in my culture, the bridegroom goes to the bride's family to take her, and they proceed to church], I was also getting ready for the groom. Then I realized I had no crown to put on my head. Everyone blamed me for not being careful. Others wanted to go buy the crown that very morning. I didn't even have a phone to call my fiancé, so he would come with one. I was disappointed and irritable on the day I was supposed to be happiest...Jesus used common things to teach people during His ministry on earth. Using His exapmple, I try to find some spiritual lessons in my day to day life. This 62-page book is based on reflections on my daily life and interaction with people. I hope you find it inspiring in your day to day life as well as in your spiritual walk with Christ.

Father, Bless Me Indeed didn't start out as a book. Rather, it was a personal quest by the author after she failed a critical nursing exam that, had she passed, would have had a huge impact on her family and career. In desperation, she started praying the prayer of Jabez and was impressed to explore what the Scriptures say about God's blessings. The prayers and thoughts attached to each of the Bible blessings came from her devotional study. There are thoughts like: "Open my eyes that I may see You when my way is darkened with sorrow, anxiety, or pain. Speak to me in Your still, quiet voice when my world is filled with the noise of doubt and discontent."The author wants you the reader to understand that, no matter what your circumstances are, you are blessed of God, for God's blessings are not always tangible. His blessings may come wrapped in feelings of hope, a supportive family, good health, a sense of peace, or the assurance that God is with you. Always remember the promise-laden words of the Apostle Paul, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Phil. 4:13, NKJV).
