It is so boring.I have to visit my Father in London.Since my Mom walked away it's been complicated.I travel back so often I am getting confused.Soon I will have to fly back to New York. What a yawn I tell you it's so predictable. There is an advantage for me.My Mom and Dad are fighting for my affection. So they keep giving me stuff.I basically have everything I could basically need.Except a normal family.Right now it's really messed up.My Mom couldn't take off so I am headed to JFK in an Uber.Oh yeah it's all so predictable.Soon I will be on a British Airways flight.England is not so bad.But I would rather be home with my friends. Chapter 1 The ride was not that bad.I have just left security and I am heading to the gate.I can't tell you how many times I have done this.Like I said all of this stuff is such a yawn.Well at least my Dad will try to bribe me.I wonder what he is gonna give me this time.
Yeah it's a funny name. The actual name is Foz do Iguacu.OK so that is also a weird name.Well at least in English.l have to tell you guys it just doesn't matter. The way I see things. This is the most interesting place on Earth. You name it you got it.From Espionage to terrorism to smuggling to criminals to adventure.Surrounded by Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay, this place is just looking for trouble. And don't I know it. Chapter 1 My fascination with this place pretty much began on my first trip to Brazil.Yeah when I was younger and a lot more stupid. Not that I am very smart now.I have learned a bit of stuff so that experience can hide my overall lack of knowledge in my little brain.I was visiting Brazil to experience the period when the whole country goes crazy. The sex and the drugs and the drinking and the parties and the word orgy coming up a lot.The women were hotter than the weather and you couldn't get away from the intense need for the locals to use their bodies for pleasure. For a young guy like me the place was intoxicating. And coming from the city as New Yorkers call Manhattan it was an experience for the ages.I wanted to see the falls so I bought a flight and found myself in Foz.And as the story often says that is how it all began.
The Best Burgers in New York CityNew York City is known for its iconic foods like pizza, bagels, and pastrami sandwiches. But the Big Apple also has an incredible burger scene that should not be overlooked. From classic diners slinging greasy burgers to upscale restaurants putting unique twists on the humble patty, New York has something for every burger lover. In this chapter, we will explore 10 of the top spots to get a truly great burger in New York City. For each restaurant, we will discuss its history and ambiance as well as the standout burgers on its menu. By the end, you'll have a comprehensive guide to sinking your teeth into the city's juiciest, most mouthwatering burgers.Katz's DelicatessenNo list of New York's iconic burgers is complete without Katz's Delicatessen. This old-school Jewish deli has been serving up huge sandwiches since 1888. While it rose to fame for its pastrami, Katz's also slings some of the city's essential burgers. The burgers here are simple but done to perfection-hand-formed patties of freshly ground beef fried on a flat-top grill until crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Opt for the classic cheeseburger with American cheese or go all out for the pastrami burger, topped with melted Swiss and rich pastrami that adds the perfect salty, peppery contrast. Just don't forget the pickles! As busy as Katz's dining room tends to get, the burgers here are worth the wait.Shake ShackWhen Danny Meyer opened the first Shake Shack in Madison Square Park in 2004, he just wanted to create a modern version of a roadside burger stand. Little did he know it would spark a fast-casual revolution and expand to become an international brand. The burgers at Shake Shack remain some of the city's hottest, drawing long lines at multiple locations. So what makes them so special? It starts with custom beef blends made completely from Angus. The burgers are then griddled until crispy and served on squishy potato rolls. Opt for classics like the ShackBurger with American cheese or sinks your teeth into limited-time specials like the Hot Chick'n with fiery fried chicken and slaw. Whatever you choose, you can't go wrong, but be prepared to wait for that first sweet, greasy bite. Part of the fun is people-watching in the park or the Theater District as the aroma of sizzling ShackBurgers fills the air.The Mark RestaurantFor a decidedly more upscale burger experience in New York, head to The Mark Restaurant by renowned French chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Situated in the lobby of one of Manhattan's poshest hotels, this contemporary American restaurant offers stellar service and refined dishes featuring the best seasonal ingredients. While the menu options range from pastas to fish, the highlight for many diners is the signature hamburger. This is no drive-thru patty-the dry-aged beef is formed into a towering eight-ounce tower and cooked at high heat for that ideal crispy crust. It's then topped with Nueske's thick-cut bacon, melty French Comté cheese, and black truffle sauce for an ultra-luxe combination. The perfectly cooked meat remains incredibly moist and juicy despite its size. Served on a toasted brioche bun with crispy fries, it's a refined take on a classic that's worth every penny of the $38 price tag. Just come hungry if you want to attempt it!EmilyFor a quirky, chef-driven take on burgers in New York, look no further than Emily. Situated in Brooklyn's trendy Clinton Hill neighborhood, this cozy pizzeria and restaurant seems an unlikely spot for memorable burgers. But chef Matt Hyland puts the same care into his burger creations as he does his critically acclaimed wood-fired pizzas. The burger selection at Emily changes frequently based on market availability and inspiration, always keeping diners excited for each visit. Past hits have included the "Em Burger" with two beef patties, American cheese, shredded lettuce, onions, pickle
Chapter 1 Naples is widely regarded as the birthplace of pizza. Legend has it that the first pizza was created here in 1889 when a local chef named Raffaele Esposito made a pizza in the colors of the Italian flag - red (tomato), white (mozzarella) and green (basil) - and presented it to Queen Margherita. The Queen was so delighted that this type of pizza has been called Pizza Margherita ever since.Neapolitan-style pizza features a thin and soft crust that is charred on top from spending just seconds in an extremely hot wood-fired oven. The crust slightly puffs up to create that beloved charred chewy bite, yet maintains a delicate tender interior. Neapolitan red sauce is applied sparingly while fresh mozzarella adds the right amount of gooey texture without making the pizza soggy and overpowering the other ingredients. This perfect combination of flavors and textures has made Neapolitan pizza world famous. When it comes to the best pizza Naples has to offer, there is no shortage of incredible pizzerias to choose from. However, a few local favorites consistently rise above the rest thanks to generations of pizza mastery passed down from the city's most renowned pizza makers. These historic and beloved Neapolitan pizzerias serve pizza that transports you directly to Naples with a single bite, exemplifying both tradition and innovation in every perfect slice.Pizzeria da MicheleWith nearly 150 years of pizza-making under its belt, Pizzeria da Michele is an undisputed king when it comes to Naples' best pizza. Since 1870, da Michele has been serving pizza from its iconic location on Via Cesare Sersale, attracting gigantic lines that wrap around the block every night. The crowds come for two reasons and two reasons only - pizza Margherita and pizza Marinara. These are the only two pies available at da Michele yet they have earned the pizzeria cult status around the globe. So what makes da Michele's trademark Margherita and Marinara pizzas so exceptional? It starts with the dough which is never made more than six hours in advance, allowing it to achieve that perfect Neapolitan texture and flavor. The pizzaiolos (pizza makers) stretch and spin the dough by hand using local techniques passed down through generations. The sauce is made fresh daily from San Marzano tomatoes and finished with a drizzle of olive oil, a pinch of salt and a sprinkle of basil. The Margherita is then topped with melted fior di latte mozzarella. Despite its simplicity, one bite transports you to Naples itself with flavors that are superior in every way. The crust is slightly blackened yet retains a puffy and pillow-soft chew. Bright tomato sauce dances beautifully with creamy melting cheese and herbaceous basil. The Marinara is similar but allows the sweet and tangy tomatoes to truly shine as the star of the show.A trip to Naples would simply not be complete without enjoying pizza at its most historic and authentic at Pizzeria da Michele. Expect long lines filled with both locals and tourists excited to taste a slice of history. Just make sure not to ask for any toppings or the pizzaiolos may refuse to serve you!Pizzeria StaritaEstablished in 1901, Pizzeria Starita shares nearly the same age and as much prestige as da Michele in Naples' pizza landscape. Also family-owned through four generations, Starita's exceptional Margherita pizza has earned numerous accolades establishing it as a beloved icon.Don't let the cafe-style setting fool you - the pizza here is as traditional as it gets and considered to be some of the best in Naples. In fact, Starita played a pivotal role in forming the official rules of Verace Pizza Napoletana that legally define what constitutes true Neapolitan pizza.
