Jesus Christ was sent to the Earth for two purposes--to bring back the heedless Jews to the correct principles of Judaism, and to alert people to the coming of a Helper. Although he was not authorized to make rules or enact laws; Jesus Christ is deemed the face of one of the world's most followed religions. Christianity is one of the most-followed religions in the world. While it has many sects, all are based on the same foundational principles. What followers of Christianity fail to realize is that Jesus Christ was no religious rule maker, nor did he ever intend to be. Since Christ left no law to follow, on what basis then does Christianity stand? Dogmatic Dilemmas of a Christian argues that Christ was sent by God merely to direct his people to abide by the teachings of Jewish law included in the Old Testament. Internal contradictions within Christianity are examined, including the error of combining the New and Old Testaments into one religious text, the direct inconsistencies of the New and Old Testaments, and the failure of Christ's followers to adhere to the Helper's teachings, a prophet whom Christ foretold about his coming after his ascension--the identity of whom is examined in these pages. Author Hassan Emam Ismail painstakingly recounts and details the flaws and inconsistencies in Christianity that have been ignored for hundreds of years. An important read for Christians searching for the truth, in addition to anyone who has wondered at the origin of one of the world's most prevalent religions, Dogmatic Dilemmas of a Christian provides theories that have heretofore been unpublished by any other religious scholar. Hassan Emam Ismail was born in Cairo, Egypt, in 1937. He received his law degree in 1958 from Ain Shams University, after which he had a distinguished legal career working for the late Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser and as a prosecutor in Egypt's Ministry of Justice. Emam Ismail has spent much of his life reading, studying, and analyzing comparative religion.
