This handbook is an annotated answer key to C.L. Seow's widely used "A Grammar for Biblical Hebrew (Revised Edition). For each exercise in that grammar, this key refreshes the student on lessons already learned, reinforces explanations and terms used in the lesson, explains concepts not yet covered, and cites relevant information in the standard dictionaries and reference grammars (for example, Jouon, BDB, Waitke-O'Connor). This companion volume allows students to make the most of the introductory grammar (in course and self-guided study). The reference to the major research grammars and lexicons will enable both student and instructor to take it to the next level, so to speak, in studying and translating biblical Hebrew, and give the instructor increased flexibility in classroom curriculum.
Through close analysis of several major novels of the past decade, including works by Don DeLillo, Philip Roth, Kathryn Davis, Jonathan Franzen and Richard Powers, Late Postmodernism examines the forces shaping contemporary literature and the remarkable strategies American writers have adopted to make sense of their place in culture.
