While her brother, King Tyler, is away seeking his queen, Princess Kaylyn is left in charge of the kingdom. Trouble arises when a man dressed in black armour arrogantly presents himself to the Princess. He announces that he has come to earn his knighthood by killing a dragon, a dragon named Donovan. In spite of Kaylyn's protests the man refuses to believe a droagon can be anything but evil and sets out to destroy Donovan.

Snow White's Magic Mirror has been stolen. Princess Kaylyn, Donovan the Dragon, and a band of friends set out to find the mirror in hopes of bringing it back to Chimera. Along the way they meet an old wizard, encounter a monster who is threatening the children of a village, find a Hawk, and are joined by a remarkable boy. There are many others that are seeking the magis mirror and some are willing to kill for it. They must face dreaded goblins, bloodthirsty marauders, and a terror from the east. Can they find the mirror and safely bring it home?

The kingdom of Chimera is at peace. All is well, but King Tyler needs a queen. Tyler learns of a princess held against her will on a mysterious island tower. He sets out to free her and hopefully find his queen, but along his path he encounters thieves, an ogre, a monsterous guardian in the tower, and a treacherous prince, only to find the princess may not be all he had hoped for.
