A lot of people think that creativity is binary: Either you have it, or you don't. But actually (and science has proved it), all of us have it. It's just a matter of how much we apply it. This extraordinary book explains in detail a special method using 5 uniquely created paintings designed to energize your imagination and ignite your creativity. By applying the 4 steps of the special L-I-V-E visualization technique (Look - Interpret - Visualize - Experience) to these pictures, the imagination becomes a powerful energizer to ignite a person's creativity. This is particularly effective for people who have had difficulty getting started and/or sticking with a plan of action. The most common reason people often fail to reach their goals is they are trying to make outward changes without making any inward changes. In most cases, a genuine inward change must hap-pen first before the outward change can become a lasting reality. The secret to doing that is using the power of the imagination, and this book will teach you how. Whether you are looking to pursue new creative activities or perhaps you want to enhance your already active creativity, this method will help you achieve your goal.

Via Christus (The Way of the Christ) presents full-color art reproductions, including twenty-four paintings that are based on important stories from the New Testament of the Christian Bible. The twenty-four paintings, which form the main theme of the book, were inspired by key events in the life of Christ, the work of the apostles, and the prophesies within the book of Revelation. These paintings are definitely not your traditional Bible illustrations but, in actuality, mystic visions of New Testament teachings for today's questioning minds. There are also a dozen Bible verses rendered in full-color calligraphy interspersed throughout the book.. This artwork should inspire a new, progressive understanding of the truth embodied in the Christ consciousness. The artist's study of the New Testament through his art led him to new insights into the reality of God and of humankind. Please note: this book was written especially for people who question the viability of traditional Christian theology and have problems accepting the idea that God is an anthropomorphic, fairy-tale, old white man who sits in Heaven and waits to judge the world. The impactful message of this little book (just 88 pages) is we are all one, God is within us, and "us and them" thinking is highly self-destructive. This message is quite timely in light of recent international protests against various kinds of social injustice.
This beautiful, full-color picture book presents 77 monotypes by James Bennett interpreting stories from the Tanakh (also called the Hebrew Bible or the Old Testament). Bennett's artwork explores the symbolism and mysteries hidden within the ancient, sacred writings -- imparting new insights from the past that might provide us with meanings for today. The reproductions are each full-page and in full-color. Stylistically, the work of Marc Chagall and Paul Klee were influences. The 77 monotypes (prints where only a single copy of an image is made) are combined with collage, gold leaf, pastel, and computer generated text. The computer generated text which accompanies each monotype uses a font created by Bennett specifically for this artwork and is based on the ancient Phoenician alphabet which is foundational for all western alphabets. This book is sure to entertain, intrigue, and challenge the reader for many years to come.
