This book is simply a record of my verse-by-verse studies of what I consider to be the primary prophetic passages concerning the future and the end times. It represents my current understanding of these scriptures; however, I expect to continue studying until Jesus returns and hopefully gaining further insight and clarification. This compilation explains how I best see the prophetic puzzle pieces fitting at the current time. I am not a scholar, but I am a diligent student of God's word. In that regard, maybe I can stimulate your studies as others have helped to stimulate mine.
Chen Tai Chi Chuan is a textbook written primarily for the students of James Cravens or their students associated with Chinese Boxing Institute International. James has studied directly with Christopher Casey, Tao Piang Siang, Yan Gaofei, Chen Quanzhong, Chen Xiaowang, and Chen Bing. He has been an indoor student of Chen Xiaowang since 2006. The book records details of the following topics: Fang Song (loosening exercises), How to Stand, How to Turn, How to Shift weight, How to Step, and breathing, all part of the fundamentals of the art. Secondly, Tai Chi uses silk reeling movement when practicing Tai Chi. All movements are from the body's center, moving unitarily in a spiral or silk-reeling manner. The body turns while maintaining a strict alignment which will keep the body in a position where blood circulation and chi are optimal while practicing. The circulation is enhanced by better posture and fewer deviations from the Tai Ch template. In silk reeling, you use two prime circles and eight two-handed options using the primary two circles. While all Tai Chu moves in a unitary silk reeling manner, the basic exercises recorded in the book are the basics of all the movement. Next, the entire famous Chen style form, Laojia Yilu, is documented in detail with pictures. Beyond this, several chapters speak of other principles and teachings in Tai Chi. Truth in Combat and Life is an overview of 57 years of a martial art journey. While at first, it was about self-defense and tournament competition, it changed directions in the 1970s as my direction in life and martial arts became more serious. I had a teacher that showed me how I had a mistaken view of my own knowledge and skill. In the end, I wanted to chase what he was doing as well. It was the study of realistic martial arts. It used rational methods of study and comparison to determine what the highest percentage of strategies and techniques were in preparing for a life and death struggle. During my life, I also used these principles to search for meaning and truth in life. My teacher did this but came to a different conclusion. In my last chapter, I try to discuss the most critical questions in life and how we can know that truth exists and is within our reach. All truth, no, but essential truth for our lives and our futures. Living with hope and reasonable faith has its advantages. 263 pages
