Gunnar Pedersen's educational and theological contributions have become some of the most important in the fields of systematic and biblical theology in both European and global Adventism. Gunnar has helpfully started to distinguish between Biblical Theology proper, providing core thematic structure, language and overall narrative framework, and Systematic Theology, which, as an applied discipline, provides modern articulations of biblical themes. Gunnar has put the two to work together as two sides of the same coin. This is not only a unique and important contribution to Adventist systematic theology, but also to systematic theology and to biblical theology in general.
