If you love granny squares, you will love creating your own Granny Square Boxy Top! This top is for those who are serious about crocheting grannies, but want to keep it to 2 colors. You can, of course, make your grannies in whatever color format you choose, but I thought, to keep this top centered, I would only use 2 colors, in different arrangements on all the grannies.I crocheted my Granny Square Boxy Top with Lion Brand Re-Spun polyester. I only needed one skein of each color (2 in total). I chose Sahara (yellow) and Amber (the burnt orange color).About My PatternsSize Inclusive - You will use your actual measurements to crochet these garments. They are appropriate for women's sizes XS to 5X. The garment will fit YOU the first time!Easy to Crochet! My patterns are all written on the Beginner or Advanced Beginner level.Easy to Understand! Are you looking for a lightweight sweater to move from winter to spring? This may be the one -- perfect to move into cool days and nights - allowing you to wear that long sleeve tee with some warmth to top it off. I am loving this Shawl Collar Cardi for a cool weather topper for my tank tops and tees -- crocheted in a light color to shed the winter blacks and dark reds. This cardi has a warm collar that will cover your neck when the cool breeze blows, but a light front - some openness to show old man winter he is in your rear view mirror! If you love a good Granny Square project, you will love this sweet cardigan! Grab your favorite colors, your favorite hook and let's see what evolves!I created my Daisy Granny Square Cardi with City Tweed DK yarn - because I had a ton of it in my stash, just sitting there, looking at me, asking me to make a granny square garment before winter ends this year...The colors I found are all fall-type colors. Because there were many yards of the Habanero colorway, I decided to use that as my main color to edge each square and to crochet the ribbed edges and cuffs. How great is that? Here is an easy crocheted summer sweater designed to wear alone - no modesty tank top is necessary when you crochet the "Stonewash" by my directions. This pattern is size-inclusive! I crocheted this sweater with Coastal Cotton from Michaels - a very soft, yet sturdy 85% cotton/15% acrylic yarn. This yarn shows gorgeous stitch definition. An easy neckline and just above elbow sleeves - no contrasting neck and hem and sleeve trim. I designed a simple look for this summer sweater. You can change it to anything you want - a contrasting trim, longer, shorter, long sleeves, short sleeves, etc. Create a Stonewash for yourself with simple crochet stitches. This design has easy chain-out sleeves for a quick make. I hope you like it! Jeanne On The Hook Crochet 2020
