Becoming a Knight for Jesus Christ is a discipleship program of outlines that I have used in over thirty years of teaching. These outlines are a place to begin teaching a new Christian. They are also good for brushing up on the basics, which we all need to do sometimes. These are the skeletons that each person, or team, can use. All disciples of Christ seek to know more. This program does that and more.

Jesus said that we are not of this world. We belong to another kingdom. As citizens of this other kingdom, we are aliens in a foreign land. We are called to represent our homeland to those we come in contact with. Since Jesus's kingdom may seem strange to many people, we are to be ambassadors for this kingdom. An Ambassador for Jesus is a study guide that takes the words of our King, Jesus, and applies them to our lives today. By using verses from the Old and New Testaments, we can demonstrate what the kingdom of heaven is to be like. Will you be an ambassador for Jesus today?

One of the disciples that little is known about is Matthias. We do know that he was chosen by the eleven to replace Judas Iscariot. He is with the believers in Jesus on Pentecost. Other than that he was with Jesus from his baptism until Jesus's return to heaven, nothing is known. Who was he, and what can we imagine about his family, occupation, or the man? Even his death is a mystery. Matthias tells the story of how it might have been. The scenes are from the scriptures as the disciples travel with Jesus, learning and working with him. Even though Matthias is not at the death of Jesus, he is to be the thirteenth disciple.
