As he ran he could see the two boys disappear again. Gloria leapt into the sea, the waves crashing over her. Whilst driving home after visiting his wife's grave, he is confronted by a car slewed off the road. He tries to help, and is confronted by his boss. This throws Eric into a miasma of misplaced loyalty, and scheming blackmail.
