The book is a paraphrasing of events taken from news stories, the news media, pamphlets, documentaries, talk shows, real life experiences, friends, relatives and of course RECKLESS commentary by yours truly. Its filled with events to enlighten as to what goes in today's society. The do's and don'ts that can be fatal in relationships. I want to inform, make you laugh, make you cautious out of concern for you and yours in their relationships. With domestic violence at an all time high, your sons and daughters need this information from wherever it s available. Some articles will put you in awe, make you think how tragic, and you'll say "how disturbing." You will also relate your experiences, some possibly near death. A whole bag of emotions will come out as you read this book. It's surely to broaden your thinking on the subject where matters of the heart and desires run deep for many of us, dangerously deep and life threatening. Your biggest interest should be on those items that relate to you or someone you know and love. Those items that relates to age category, mental state, health, finances, experiences, inexperience, physique, nationality, culture, religion, politics and on we go. Most of all, I hope the humorous touch will make each event more palatable and yet informative of the realness in relationships, once good but turned sour.

'Sometimes I liken the creative act to that of being a good gardener. The musical material itself, the harmonies, rhythms, the timbres and tempi, are seeds you have planted. Composing, bringing forth the final formal arrangement of these elements, is often a business of watching them grow, knowing when to nourish and water them and when to prune and weed.'A book unlike anything ever written by a composer, part memoir and part description of the creative process, Hallelujah Junction is an absorbing journey through the musical landscape of John Adams, one of today's most admired and frequently performed composers. A musician of enormous range and technical command, Adams has built a huge audience worldwide through the immediacy and sincerity of his music, such as his Pulitzer prize-winning memorial for the September 11 attack On The Transmigration of Souls. Hallelujah Junction isn't so much an autobiography as a fascinating journey through the musical landscape of his life and times, centred around the three highly controversial operas based on social and political issues he has written in the past twenty-five years - Nixon in China, The Death of Klinghoffer and, most recently, Dr Atomic.
