This book addresses truths other books on the subject appear to avoid in relation to a detailed investigation. It asks questions to determine what the kingdom is, such as: Is this physical? Is it spiritual? Is it Israel? Is it heaven? Who is the king of this kingdom? Who are the citizens of this kingdom? Is it something which has developed through the Old Testament, or the New or both? What is meant by the Old and New Testament references to it? Is it the same kingdom in each Testament? Why is it mentioned at the beginning and the end of the LORD's Prayer? In fact, why are 473 references to 'kingdom' in the Bible? Does this indicate its importance? Why does Pilate say to Jesus, "Are You the King of the Jews?" Why does he go on to say, "You are a king then!" This book not only asks but it also attempts, as humbly as the author is able, to provide answers to these fascinating questions and build up the reader's knowledge of the kingdom and discover their calling, responding to and obeying the One who calls.
