The author has been studying and teaching the Bible for over 40 years. In the space of those years, the availability of Bible study tools has exploded allowing one to learn at levels impracticable a few short years ago. Taking advantage of these tools, the author began comparing several English translations to their respective Greek manuscripts. Finding several deviations, one has recently stood out - the verbs. For example, in my Bible, in several verses, the adjective "dead" is found where the verb "died" ought to be. A verb tells the reader who did the action, the time period in which the action was performed, whether the action is ongoing and whether or not that action has relevance today. The adjective does not convey any of that information. Why did the translators of my Bible not "declare...all the counsel of God"? This book is a result of researching several key verbs - "died" being one of many. I pray that it will edify the reader and bring him into a richer understanding of having "died with Christ". El libro que se presenta es resultado de la labor investigativa de sus autores. En el mismo se reflexiona y se realizan nuevas aproximaciones a varios aspectos abordados en obras precedentes, dedicadas a la didáctica de la solución de problemas matemáticos en la educación primaria; tales como: su evolución histórica, su conceptualización y clasificación; así como las funciones de los problemas en la enseñanza de la Matemática. De igual forma, sus autores, abordan la enseñanza de la solución de problemas matemáticos desde una nueva postura: la comunicativa. Consecuentemente con esto último, realizan un análisis teórico de las interrelaciones entre las categorías: problema matemático, texto, solución de problemas y comprensión textual; el cual les permitió redefinir el concepto de problema matemático e introducir el concepto de comprensión de problemas matemáticos en la Didáctica de la Matemática. Por último ofrecen una metodología para la comprensión de problemas matemáticos en la educación primaria, a partir de asumir los problemas matemáticos como textos y a la solución de problemas como un proceso de comprensión textual.

The author was saved in July/1977 and introduced to systematic, Scripture-centered Bible study a year later. After studying the works of a multitude of writers for the next several years, the author began teaching home Bible studies in 1981 and has continued to the present. The author is an engineer by trade. All members of the Body of Christ know that today's gospel centers around the "preaching of the cross" (1Cor. 1:18). However, knowing WHEN God revealed it to mankind is a powerful remedy for the confusion that has gripped the Church. Imagine coming across passages that warn against blaspheming the Holy Spirit (Mt. 12:31), that admonish to forgive in order to be forgiven (Mt. 6:14,15) or that place the Jews as "FIRST [to] be filled" (Mark 7:27) and being able to simply and in a straightforward manner reconcile such truths with today's gospel without resorting to religious doubletalk. Understanding the WHEN component of the good news of the cross makes the Bible significantly easier to understand and removes the "complexity" so long associated with the Scriptures. We want simple explanations and straightforward answers. I'm reminded of the brother who finally demanded "Do I or don't I have to forgive my brother's sins to be forgiven - which is it?" While this book is nowhere exhaustive, it will assure the believer that God's word is understandable and clearly within his comprehension no matter what his education may be.
