He was granted a license in theology, civil law, and canon law by the Pontifical Gregorian University and the Pontifical Lateran University in Rome. He has written numerous books about Mexican culture and the Guadalupe event.

Es licenciado en Teología, en Derecho Civil y en Derecho Canónico por las universidades Gregoriana y Lateranense en Roma. Ha escrito numerosas obras sobre los orígenes de la cultura mexicana y en especial sobre la Virgen de Guadalupe.
