A sapphic reimagining of the classic Frankenstein tale with a modern-day twist! Melanie Alcantara is good at her job. Perfect even. She's the best set of hands in the Cherry Hill, NJ area for sewing bodies back together and bringing them to life. Unfortunately, her Autistic intricacies stop at piecing corpses together like puzzle pieces when her 3-year relationship with her girlfriend, Tala, comes to an abrupt end. Unable to cope with losing the love of her life to another woman, we follow Melanie as she spirals into a deep pit of madness and denial. There is no telling what a woman who caters to the living dead will do.
The year is 1806 and German family, the Zieglers are jumping with joy after being granted freedom from serfdom. They were granted a plot of land in the mysterious town of Gumdrop Hollow. Hannah Ziegler, the youngest of the bunch at a mere 15-years-old, is suspicious of the town but she doesn't know why. After establishing themselves as model townspeople, Fredreich, Lena, Helene, and Hannah are all cursed with supernatural occurrences that have only targeted their family. At their wits end, they turn to a merchant and Helene's new girlfriend, Kristiane Bauer for advisement. It is then that they learn of Krampus, a Christmas demon who preys on the naughtiness of children. Now, they must do everything to protect Hannah from Krampus and the sinister town of Gumdrop Hollow.
Appearing in front of their own graves, one cold and still night, was not in the cards for Cole and Jewel. Lovers before their death, they wonder who could have possibly killed them in the small city of Vik, Iceland. While Jewel yearns for answers, Cole preoccupies herself with keeping Jewel close. When Cole's flesh begins to peel, inciting her ghostly form to begin to rot, they realize there must be more to their demise than they thought. Out of nowhere, Cole begins to act out towards the living and cause them pain in ways that shock Jewel. As Jewel begins to pull away from Cole, Cole's sense of urgency to keep Jewel in the dark of what happened the day they died increases. The arrival of Hel, the Goddess of Death, only complicates things for the twosome. If there's one thing Cole is sure of, she will never let Jewel go... even in death.
