Grand Junction was in Western Colorado. Settled by ranchers, farmers, miners and railroad people. It had beautiful views and became a hub for the railroad. Cattle and sheep were shipped by railroad to market. With the coming of irrigation fruit became a standard of Grand Junction. It became the host city for the Peach Festival.
