12 Poems of Lazzie's Joy is a children's book of poems that was inspired by the joys of Latoya, a Mom, having and raising her son, Lazare. He is a December boy, and it has always been her favourite month and time of the year. With Lazzie - as he is affectionately called - being born in December, Latoya especially felt the need to celebrate his birth, and so she was inspired to start writing again. There the poems were born; 12 poems representing his 12th month. Each poem has been carefully written to entertain and bring joy to the reader, through Lazzie's daily experiences. It is written from a baby's point of view, and shares little details of his day-to-day activities; activities which bring him happiness and joy. Latoya has added two bonus edits of two of the poems that were written with Lazzie's name in them, so that children and their parents can have fun customising them to make them their own. There are also 12 fun sight words which she thinks all babies can start learning.
