Based on Lois Barden's own descriptions, this biography tells the story of an amazing life filled with faith, courage, and love. It spans the Great Depression, experiences as a WWII bride of an American pilot who was shot down and spent a year in a Nazi POW camp, and continued Air Force service including training America's first astronauts. Lois (Hunter) Barden's roots in the rural community of Ithaca, Michigan gave her the strength and support to live history.
