The book contains short episodes, taken from the daily life of the Armenian community in Nicosia, where the author permanently settled in 1992 and where he lives to this day. The author presents stories from the Armenian community, including his and his family's life in Cyprus from 1992 to the present day. The Armenian community is a thriving community in Cyprus, especially thanks to the presence of the Melkonian Educational Institute. The author presents some episodes from the life of the students at this school. The author also depicts scenes from cultural life and theatrical performances within the Armenian community in Cyprus. The author was born in Aleppo in 1954. He lived the first sixteen years of his life at Armenian quarters in Aleppo. He then moved to Beirut, Lebanon together with his family, where he lived in an Armenian quarter for eleven years. After graduating from college at the age of twenty-seven, he moved to the United Arab Emirates, where he worked for eleven years at the offices of various international companies. The author established a family during that period with his Cypriot-Armenian wife Rita, with whom he has two sons. At the age of thirty-eight, he moved to Nicosia with his family and lives there until today. The author presents episodes from his life in the Armenian communities in these countries in separate books. In this book, he presents life within the Armenian community of Cyprus.

Thereafter he moved with his family to Beirut, Lebanon, where he lived in an Armenian neighbourhood of the city for eleven years. At the age of twenty-seven, after gaining a university degree, he moved to the United Arab Emirates, where he worked for eleven years at the offices of various international companies. During this period, he started a family with his Cypriot Armenian wife, Rita, with whom he has two sons. At the age of thirty-eight, he moved with his family to Nicosia, Cyprus, where he lives today. The author describes life within the Armenian communities in those countries through short stories. The current volume describes life in Aleppo. This version is in Armenian language. The author has published also the same book with the same title in English language.
