The author was born in Aleppo in 1954. He lived the first sixteen years of his life at Armenian quarters in Aleppo. He then moved to Beirut, Lebanon together with his family, where he lived in an Armenian quarter for eleven years. After graduating from college at the age of twenty-seven, he moved to the United Arab Emirates, where he worked for eleven years at the offices of various international companies. The author established a family during that period with his Cypriot-Armenian wife Rita, with whom he has two sons. At the age of thirty-eight, he moved to Nicosia with his family and lives there until today. The author presents episodes from his life in the Armenian communities in these countries in separate books. In this book, he presents life within the Armenian community of Cyprus.

At the age of twenty-seven, after gaining a university degree, he moved to the United Arab Emirates, where he worked for eleven years at the offices of various international companies. During this period, he started a family with his Cypriot Armenian wife, Rita, with whom he has two sons. At the age of thirty-eight, he moved with his family to Nicosia, Cyprus, where he lives today. The author describes life within the Armenian communities in those countries through short stories. The current volume describes life in Aleppo. This version is in Armenian language.
