Ms. Proctor is a mother to her son, a daughter, a sister to nine siblings, a friend, auntie, godmother, and child of God who lives to spread the word of Christ by using the poetic skill with which she is blessed. She was born in the small town of Fordyce, Arkansas, to Francis, who too was a writer but never published her words. "I am grateful to be able to share this inherited ability."
