For a long time, I had planned to write a travelogue with photos. However, there were few opportunities to capture such moments and experiences from my time in Abu Dhabi back then. A good camera was a luxury fifty years ago. As a result, the photos are missing from the first five or six parts. I've resided in Abu Dhabi for a long time, almost fifty years. I've travelled throughout the United Arab Emirates. I travelled abroad frequently from here. In this travelogue, I'm pleased to include a color photograph taken in 1973. This book is dedicated to the several trips I took in the last fifty years, including my first trip to England, which was twenty-four years ago; the Millennium New Year celebration with my family in Portland, Oregon; a trip to the Essen World Trade Fair in Germany, a week-long cruise from Barcelona with my wife, and trips to various other European countries.
